Used for dwellings up to 5 floors and for moderate glazing areas.
Mounted horizontally above the glazing area, typical projects are 1000mm to 1500mm.
Vertical and blade pitch should be adjusted to compromise between shading efficiency and light entry.
May require a brace strut.
Ideal for South facing facades.
Inexpensive as compared to aerofoil options.
Also used for smaller curtain walling projects.
